Originally released at the end of 2024 as video files on Youtube and shared on email with a .gif, Suntub extras is an expansion of the world which was unfolded on ML Buch’s double album Suntub from 2023. Now released on digital streaming platforms and as a limited edition 10” picture disc vinyl, Suntub extras presents six more plateaus, locations or scenes created during the years of making Suntub.
All six pieces find themselves in spaces without vocals, where narration is left open for the instruments to speak for themselves. In this manner, Suntub extras expands on the instrumental part of Suntub, making for half of the 2023 record, and pointing towards what’s next for the Danish composer.
